Birthday Weekend at Villa Oria Brusati
For our birthdays, my girlfriend Priscilla and I wanted a setting that was both intimate and expansive, a place where we could celebrate with family and friends in a stunning, relaxed environment. Villa Oria Brusati turned out to be the perfect choice, offering ample space, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of comfort. Here’s a look into our unforgettable stay.
Arrival
The journey to Villa Oria Brusati was incredibly convenient. Located just a 15 minutes drive from Lugano and about two hours from Lucerne, it’s nestled in the scenic landscapes of Italy, directly at the shores of Lake Lugano, making it a tranquil yet accessible retreat. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the calm and luxury the villa exuded.
Bedrooms
The villa’s layout is ideal for large groups, providing both privacy and a sense of togetherness. The main house accommodates up to 10 people with its five spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms. The design was both elegant and cozy, and each room felt like a private sanctuary. A separate house on the property comfortably fit an additional six guests, offering three bedrooms. This layout allowed everyone the privacy they needed while keeping us close enough to enjoy each other’s company.
Kitchen and Dining Room
One of the highlights of Villa Oria Brusati was its kitchen and dining spaces. The main kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, allowing us to cook large meals effortlessly. An outdoor kitchen added an extra layer of charm, giving us the option to enjoy al fresco dining under the open sky.
The dining room, with its large table, became a focal point of our celebrations. We gathered here for many meals, enjoying long conversations and laughter that echoed throughout the villa.
Garden and Lake
The villa’s grounds are just as impressive as its interiors. The garden is beautifully landscaped, offering picturesque views over the lake and plenty of space for relaxation. A particular delight was having direct access to the lake, complete with a motor boat available for use. Spending an afternoon on the water, taking in the breathtaking surroundings, was one of the most memorable parts of our stay.
