Snow Polo World Cup in St. Moritz

St. Moritz has played host to the world’s pre-eminent snow polo tournament since 1985. Besides being the first-ever snow polo tournament, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is the only «high goal» polo tournament played on snow. On the last of four tournament days I was drawn to St. Mortiz right on time for the finals. I was able to enjoy two exciting games as a spectator. Here are some impressions.

Between the games, the Polo Village offered numerous attractions at the sponsors’ stands. Among others, we were attracted by the stand of Mauritius Tourism, one of the main sponsors of this event. At the creative photo wall sun, beach and sea met snow.
