My Stay at The Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt
Who’d have thought to find an oasis of well-being in the middle of the lively metropolis of Frankfurt? The Villa Kennedy offers luxury and relaxation in the middle of the city.
The Villa
The villa was built in 1901 and parts of the current hotel complex are still in the restored building. The rest of the hotel is in the new building. During the enlargement of the property, care was taken to maintain the architectural style and structure. Today the Villa Kennedy offers its hospitality in 163 rooms and suites. From the inside, one can hardly tell whether one is in a new or old building.
Our Room
Our room was located in the rebuilt part of the villa. After the porter brought us to the room, we were able to spread out. And this in the literal sense. Because the room offers enough space to spread out. The generously designed bathroom also has a shower and a bathtub. Also to the room inventory belongs a huge bed as well as a comfortable seat and TV corner.
Restaurant and Bar
The in-house Restaurant GUSTO as well as the JFK BAR take care of the catering in the villa. The classic Italian dishes are served in the spacious dining room as well as in the idyllic courtyard. As we were very lucky with the weather we could enjoy all meals in the comfortable garden of the villa. One simply forgets all everyday stress.
Whether through the day or to end the evening, a visit with a look at the cocktail menu of the JFK BAR is definitely worth it.
Where chairs and tables still stood in the evening, the staff creates a fabulous breakfast buffet in the morning, with a selection that leaves nothing to be desired. The buffet is complemented by delicious egg dishes such as pancakes or French toast.
The Spa Area
The actual setting of the villa should provide enough relaxation for everyone. At the latest, however, in the spa area everyone gets what they want. The wellness offer ranges from sauna and massages to pool and whirlpool. In other words: pure relaxation for body and soul.
