Recreation Area Wilder Kaiser
In today’s blog post I would like to share my impressions from my autumn vacations with you. This year I went to the region Wilder Kaiser in Tyrol. The impressive mountain massif is surrounded by the four Kaiser villages Ellmau, Söll, Going and Scheffau and offers a lot of adventure fun. Here are some highlights.
Golfclub Wilder Kaiser
Let us begin the journey. What could be better than a game of golf with spectacular views? The golf courses of the Wilder Kaiser Golf Club offer a varied game with a unique backdrop. Those who also stay in one of the partner hotels receive a 30% discount on the green fee.

However, the Wilder Kaiser Golf Club is not the only golf course in the region. Within a radius of an hour’s drive, there are 11 other golf courses within reach. A true paradise for golf travellers.
Hiking
In addition to golf, the Wilder Kaiser area is also known for its numerous hiking and climbing routes. I would like to share with you two hiking routes that we have chosen.
From Söll the ascent to the Hexenwasser began. This led along a unique rock chapel. For those who prefer to enjoy the view in a comfortable way, a gondola lift is available. At the top, there is an adventure park for young and old. In addition, ambitious hikers have the option to continue hiking to the Hohe Salve.

The Hintersteiner See offers a hiking possibility with less altitude, but just as beautiful nature views. The natural bathing lake not only invites you to discover in summer. On the circular path around the mountain lake, you can observe numerous animals. But also the mountain landscape can be admired from up here.

Where to Stay?
I hope you enjoyed my trip to the Wilder Kaiser region. If you feel the urge to discover the region on your own, I can recommend two wonderful hotels. One is the Hotel Kaiserhof in Ellmau and the other is the Hotel Postwirt in Söll.
