Handmade Silk Ties from France by Atelier F&B

The frequented tie wearer among you know for sure. Nothing ties more gently and easily than a pure silk tie. If true passionated handcraft stays behind the production, then the outcome is probably the perfect tie. That’s exactly what I was looking for a long time. I finally found what I have been looking for in the accessories of Atelier F & B.

Since 1919, the talented tailors of Atelier F & B have created neckties and much more in the finest French way. The quality and attention to detail, convinced me immediately. But the design can also be seen. I opted for a colorful tie with a subtle pattern.

In addition to ties, the tailors from Aterlier F & B also create pocket squares or, as the French would say, “Pochettes”. Since the pattern in my tie is rather inconspicuous, I decided on a more conspicuous pocket squar. The fabric consists of four different patterns, something I have never seen before. It should be noted, however, that I personally like the mix of several patterns.

Depending on the look, the handkerchief can be folded as desired, so that one or the other quadrant stands out more. Since Paisley is one of my favorite patterns, I folded and placed my pocket square accordingly.

Let’s take a look at the complete outfit. Nowadays, It’s hard to find a tie that does not convay a too strong business look apperance. This is precisely what Aterlier F & B has achieved with theire products. I have been able to create a perfect as well as elegant smart casual look for warmer days. The colors and patterns of the tie and the handkerchief give my look the necessary freshness and serenity.
