How to Basic: Cufflinks and Pocket Square
The devil lies in the detail. Never underestimate the power of the details. Even if they are as tiny as a fly. It’s what makes your look complete. It doesn’t need much. A fancy pocket square, a shiny tie bar or some classy cufflinks and your look will be outstanding.
The Cufflinks

Cufflinks first appeared in the 1600s. They were worn by men of royalty and wealth. The classy accessory never came out of fashion and can still be seen today in every gentleman’s wardrobe.
The Pocket Square

Back in the days the pocket square wasn’t worn as a fashion accessory . Sprinkled with fragrance it served the purpose masking the bad smell in the streets. Nowadays the pocket square fortunately has lost it’s function as an air refresher.
There are several different folding techniques and every gentleman probably has it’s favorite. Personally, I am a fan of the “Stairs Fold” as you can spot in the image above.
