Drei Tage, drei Welten, unzählige Erinnerungen – so liesse sich meine letzte Reise nach Frankreich wohl am besten umschreiben. Im August 2025 führte uns Atout France durch ein Programm, das Paris in all seinen Facetten erlebbar machte: von stilvollen Rooftops über nervenkitzelnde Abenteuerfreude bis hin zu glamourösen Illusionen. Ein Trip, der nicht nur die Stadt, sondern auch die Kunst des gemeinsamen Entdeckens feierte.
Three days, three worlds, countless memories – that’s probably the best way to describe my last trip to France. In August 2025, Atout France took us on a journey that allowed us to experience Paris in all its facets: from stylish rooftops and thrilling adventures to glamorous illusions. A trip that celebrated not only the city, but also the art of discovering together.
A Journey by Train
Schon die Anreise setzte den Ton: Mit dem TGV Lyria glitten wir durch die Landschaft, die sich sanft in Richtung der französischen Metropole öffnete. An Bord erwartete uns ein Mittagessen, das den Auftakt bildete zu drei Tagen voller Genuss und Inspiration. In Paris angekommen, führte uns der erste Weg ins Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette – ein Refugium, das Eleganz und Entspannung inmitten des sechsten Arrondissements vereint.
The journey itself set the tone: aboard the TGV Lyria, we glided through landscapes unfolding gently toward the French capital. A light lunch on board marked the beginning of three days filled with delight and inspiration. Upon arrival in Paris, our first stop was the Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette – a retreat blending elegance and relaxation in the heart of the 6th arrondissement.
La Belle Juliette – A Parisian Refuge
Das Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette war während dieser Tage unser Rückzugsort – ein Haus, das Pariser Eleganz mit wohltuender Ruhe verbindet. Die Zimmer, geschmückt mit feinen Details, luden nach den Erlebnissen der Stadt zum Verweilen ein. Besonders die kleine Oase aus Pool und Hammam schenkte uns Momente der Entspannung, die wie eine stille Gegenwelt zum pulsierenden Paris wirkten. Es war ein Ort, an dem man nicht nur übernachtete, sondern an dem man die Essenz pariser Lebensart in jedem Augenblick spürte.
The Hôtel & Spa La Belle Juliette was our retreat during these days – a place that blends Parisian elegance with soothing calm. The rooms, adorned with delicate details, invited us to linger after the city’s adventures. Especially the small oasis of pool and hammam offered moments of relaxation, a quiet counterworld to the vibrant Paris outside. It was more than just a place to stay – it was a home where the essence of Parisian art de vivre could be felt in every moment.
Paris in Motion
Paris erkundet man am besten mit offenen Augen und einem Hauch Neugier. Mit der Tootbus-Tour entdeckten wir die Stadt aus einer neuen Perspektive – ein bewegtes Panorama aus Boulevards, Brücken und Geschichten. Vom offenen Deck aus fühlte sich die Stadt beinahe greifbar an: das Lachen der Passanten an den Cafés, der Rhythmus der Autos auf den grossen Avenuen, und immer wieder diese unerwarteten Ausblicke, die uns innehalten liessen. Es war, als würde Paris selbst seine Geschichten zuflüstern, sobald man bereit ist, den Blick schweifen zu lassen.
Paris is best explored with open eyes and a touch of curiosity. On the Tootbus tour, we discovered the city from a new perspective – a moving panorama of boulevards, bridges, and stories. From the open deck, the city felt almost tangible: the laughter of people at cafés, the rhythm of cars along the grand avenues, and those unexpected views that made us pause. It was as if Paris itself whispered its stories the moment one was willing to let the gaze wander.
Rooftop Dining at Créatures
Nur wenige Schritte entfernt öffneten sich die Türen zu den Galeries Lafayette, wo Mode, Architektur und Gastlichkeit auf eindrucksvolle Weise verschmelzen. Der Abend endete hoch über den Dächern, mit einem Dinner auf dem Rooftop „Créatures“. Zwischen urbanem Gartenflair, köstlicher französischer Küche und einem Panoramablick über die Stadt lag eine besondere Magie in der Luft.
Just steps away, the doors of Galeries Lafayette opened to a world where fashion, architecture, and hospitality merge in impressive harmony. The evening came to a close high above the rooftops, with dinner at the “Créatures” rooftop. Surrounded by an urban garden atmosphere, exquisite French cuisine, and a panoramic view over the city, a special magic filled the air.
Als die Sonne langsam unterging, färbte sie die Fassaden in warme Goldtöne und schuf eine Atmosphäre, die kaum romantischer sein könnte. Es war der perfekte Ort, um Erinnerungen festzuhalten – ein Photospot, der Paris von seiner schönsten Seite zeigt.
As the sun slowly set, it cast golden tones over the facades, creating an atmosphere that could hardly be more romantic. It was the perfect place to capture memories – a photo spot showcasing Paris at its very best.
A Day of Adventure at Parc Astérix
Der zweite Tag war der Freude gewidmet – jener besonderen Freude, die entsteht, wenn man Neues entdeckt und gemeinsam erlebt. Spricht man von Paris und Vergnügungsparks, so denken viele sofort an Disneyland. Doch unser Ziel war der Parc Astérix – ein Ort, der mit seiner Mischung aus Humor, Mythologie und Abenteuer überrascht. Zwischen den Gassen voller Gallier, den farbenfrohen Shows und den zahlreichen Attraktionen lag eine Energie, die ansteckend war.
The second day was dedicated to joy – the kind of joy that arises from discovering and experiencing something new together. When people think of Paris and amusement parks, most immediately picture Disneyland. Yet our destination was Parc Astérix – a place that surprises with its unique blend of humor, mythology, and adventure. Between lively streets full of Gauls, colorful shows, and countless attractions, the energy was contagious.
Für mich persönlich wurde die Bahn „Oziris“ zum Höhepunkt des Tages: ein rasanter Flug durch die Lüfte, der mich zum Lachen und Staunen zugleich brachte. Zwischen diesen Momenten voller Adrenalin blieb auch Zeit für ein gemeinsames Mittagessen am See des Parks, wo wir zur Ruhe kamen und die Eindrücke Revue passieren liessen
For me personally, the ride “Oziris” became the highlight of the day: a thrilling flight through the air that made me both laugh and marvel. Amidst these adrenaline-filled moments, there was also time for a shared lakeside lunch, where we paused and reflected on the experiences.
Glamour and Farewell
Der Abschlusstag fuehrte uns in das Musée Grévin, wo Geschichte, Glamour und Illusionen zu einem faszinierenden Schauspiel verschmolzen. Zwischen Wachsfiguren von Legenden und modernen Ikonen erlebten wir die Kunst der Inszenierung in ihrer verspieltesten Form. Ein letztes gemeinsames Mittagessen im Restaurant Les Noces de Jeannette rundete den Trip ab – bevor es mit dem TGV Lyria wieder in Richtung Schweiz ging, reich an Eindrücken und inspiriert von der Leichtigkeit, mit der Paris seine Gäste verzaubert.
The final day took us to the Musée Grévin, where history, glamour, and illusions merged into a fascinating spectacle. Surrounded by wax figures of legends and modern icons, we experienced the playful art of staging at its finest. A last shared lunch at Les Noces de Jeannette brought the trip to a close – before boarding the TGV Lyria back to Switzerland, our minds full of impressions and inspired by the effortless charm with which Paris enchants its guests.
